The crabcakes and jellyfish are getting into the holiday spirit, and a few 8 bit critters are making appearances. 3 more Halloween customs have been spotted, crabcakes that are scavenging for pumpkins, candy corn, and witch’s hats at * Sugar Rush *‘s candy dock! Grab them before they escape on November 1st, they won’t be around for long. These limited edition customs are also available at Kids Fair 2009 from October 18th-25th at the Copper Creek sim. Also in the waters is a Pink Ribbon Gadget ring with (and removable) bling added for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Matching earrings + brooch group freebie inside the * Sugar Rush * shop. * Sugar Rush * is participating in the summer Gone Fishing Hunt organized by April Loire of Coull Creations Fishing. From July 1st through July 31st you can fish for various prizes with a 7Seas Pro or Casual rod. Our prize is … drumrolls … a bucket of gummi worms! It’s not just any ordinary bucket. You can snack on the gummi worms when you’re hungry or use it as special bait to feed the fish (just kidding :P). Two versions available, one for humanoid avatars and another version that’s Loco Pocos compatible. (Yes your fur will sync!) We’re #70 in the circuit, so if you can’t wait to fish for this unique prize, you can take this slurl to teleport directly there. 🙂

New in the water at * Sugar Rush * are Fishin’ Octypus and Whirly hats. The Octypus is has a cute Kawaii inspired face and is holding it’s 8bit fishin rod trying to catch fishies too. There are two types of Whirly Hats, one with a big propeller and the other small. Big Kids or little kids, this hat will do. We love the whirly, whirly on top and the bright colors, so much fun to wear!

Just in time for Memorial Day, a whole batch of customs were discovered in the * Sugar Rush * river! Wear the stars + stripes fishing hat to shield from the hot summer sun and wear the matching fishing rod to reel in the red and blue OctopUSA seen waving flags. If you catch and wear one of the new choco bites or smores treats it might lure more OctopUSA, or craft one of five patriotic teacup boats to navigate the river! Crafting a boat will require a new red pixie dust or blue pixie dust (psst, and these are now transferable and anyone can ride them). Hat, rod, OctopUSA, and teacup boats are also available for purchase at the * Sugar Rush * store or around the candy dock. Have a happy summer!

Happy Easter from * Sugar Rush *! 6 Easter customs have been spotted in the waters under the candy dock. If you love fishing gear then you love the Easter fishing rod and Easter fishing hat. Both items include paintbrush, chick, Easter egg and bunny charms. Purchased hat from the * Sugar Rush * store or Xstreet includes modify permission. If you like fishing for critters, you’ll find that some fish were spotted stealing Easter items from the store! See if you can catch them, there’s the Bunny fudgesicle Fed Jellyfish, the Easter Egg Fed Jellyfish and the Chick Fed Jellyfish. One crab cake is expressing her creative side by painting the massive Easter eggs placed around the candy dock.

There’s MORE goodies made for 7Seas Fishiversary! 2 new custom fish have been added to the Plush Chi, Osmium, and Ruthenium sims. With everyone hunting for those lucky 4 leaf shamrocks, even a very lucky Shamrock fed jellyfish (ultrarare) and a green crab cake (superultrarare) got in on the action! There’s also a very yummy Fishiversary cake hat with extinguishable candle (common, uncommon) that you can fish out of the water or get by clicking on the giant 8 meter tall cake. All the crab cakes and dessert fed jellyfish are updated with Send-to-Aquarium feature. If you have any originals, put them in a folder labeled with your name and drop it to Mialissa Masala for the upgrades. And last but not least, Saturday evening Seven Shikami will host a tournament here at the candy dock! Come for the freebies, music, contest, and a chance to win an official 7Seas really limited edition Pirate Duck custom.
